Hi! I’m Kevan- owner and Designer at Designs by Purple Door

Hi! I am Kevan Jensen, a Mom to 3, Grandma to 10, Great-Grandma to 1, and a Widow. I love Purple so yes my house has a purple door; Disney Villains: Maleficent, the Evil Queen, and Queen of Hearts; and the Ocean; it’s where I gain peace, and restores my inner balance.

I worked for the US Air Force providing aircraft parts to the F16 Warfighter and made many friends across the world. One of my most cherished memories is being able to have an actual flight in the back seat of an F16 over the Mojave Desert. After 32 years I said goodbye and retired!

I am a community volunteer serving as a Girl Scout Troop Leader to girls in 1^st thru 11^th grade, and Council trainer for Adults with Girl Scouts of Utah.

I have dabbled in many crafts over the years, but the one that keeps coming back is Floral design. I have designed and created everything from Dance Corsages and Boutonnieres, Table centerpieces, and Wreaths to beautiful Wedding Bouquets.

I am a creative and a Hoarder of wreath supplies (especially ribbon), who sometimes uses them for profit. Now I am pursuing my dream full time; “Welcome to Designs by Purple Door!”
